Payconfidence (Payc) is an online payment transaction assurance solution accessible via mobile, web and USSD code.
It is developed to provide payment intermediary service between sellers and buyers.Payconfidence is made to fill the trust gap between buyers and sellers of product and services in an online or non-face-to-face transaction.
It guarantees that money is paid by the buyer for good/services before dispatch by the seller, and that goods/services are received by the buyer before payment is remitted to the seller.
Payconfidence does this by holding the buyer’s money temporarily in a CBN licensed third party account until the cycle is complete.The app does not list products and services but only provides confidence for monetary exchange, irrespective of the platform where the buyers and sellers meet.
